Microsoft is brilliantly getting everyone talking about Windows 7. Yes, the commercial sucks horribly, and people won’t stop sharing it to EVERYONE. Give it another week and I dare you to show me one person that uses a computer and hasn’t heard about Windows 7.

The article misses a very important part of the pricing: the platform license.
You can’t sell a game for ANY platform without permission from either Microsoft, Sony or Nintendo. If you decide to open a game company tomorrow, when your game is ready you can’t simply press DVDs and send them to Best Buy. Instead you need to make a deal with each platform owner so you can produce the discs that will play on that console.
In the Microsoft case, they are not stupid. You will notice that after X months, the price drops to a lower tier. Your $60 game is now $40, then $30 or $20. I have gotten some fantastic deals on the $20-$30 bin.
And yes, I am a big supporter of the bang for the buck concept. I will happily pay $60 for a 100-hour game, but I’ll bitch and moan before paying the same for a game that won’t give me more than 20 hours of entertainment.

This is simply revolting. This piece of shit blatantly presents himself as a combat decorated and wounded US Marine, and then goes on to harm the efforts to support our veterans, and he is not even going to be prosecuted? Isn’t Colorado a military state?
You couldn’t pull this kind of bullshit in Virginia, that’s for sure. The Attorney General here (Bill Mims as of February 2009) declines to prosecute somebody like that piece of shit and they’ll lynch him on the steps of the state capitol.
